VSM is a multi-vendor capable control system for all broadcast applications, including outside broadcast vans, master control rooms and studios in both radio and television stations.

The DME64N offers a wide range of signal processing capabilities, broadcast-specific applications including auto-ducking for voiceover / commentator applications and simultaneous selection of multiple sources which can, if required, be summed onto an output bus and monitored using the controls of both the left and right outputs. Additionally, commentators can listen across multiple lines simultaneously.

The VSM control system allows hardware or software panel control of the DME64N’s monitoring and mixing functions, including XP state, XP, level, input and output level, auto mixer, ducker and oscillator. It also allows the size and the layers of the matrix to be defined.

Providing a virtually unlimited number of freely configurable panel views on any Windows PC, the VSM control system represents a flexible control solution, allowing more users to bring the power of DME processing into their broadcast applications.
