About the project:
It is the year 2012. Felix Baumgartner ascends in a helium balloon over the plains of New Mexico, USA to an altitude of 39 kilometers to jump from the stratosphere toward the ground. With this jump, from the edge of space, he sets a new world record in free fall and becomes the first person to break the sound barrier without any motor propulsion.

In many ways, this spectacular action resembles another remarkable feat: an electric race car doing a lap without a pilot in the cockpit at the DTM Electric Remote Run. With one big difference: Felix Baumgartner’s parachute jump took three years to prepare. Our project had only five months. Would that be enough?
